Salary £23,400 to £30k (£12-£15.38 p/h) depending upon experience
The role:
Our Production Technicians perform a vital role in the assembly and testing of sub-assemblies and finished products.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working under their own initiative in a team that comprises of other assembly and test technicians. The work can be varied to suit the demands of the production schedule, and test technicians will be trained on a varied product range.
Job responsibilities:
- Assembly and testing of sub-assemblies and finished products
- In process inspection
- Fault diagnosis to PCB level
- Perform test procedures
- Moulding of sub-assemblies
- Continuous improvement of processes
Qualifications and experience:
- Excellent soldering skills – a formal qualification will be an advantage
- Ability to work to defined procedures / drawings
- Comfortable working with computer systems
A strong attention to detail producing consistent high standards of quality
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A HNC in electronics or equivalent work-based experience will be highly advantageous
